Creating websites is confusing. true or false?

I'm excited to create my own website but its just really hard. I like having templates already made that i can just use. I don't like having to create all my own things. I think I'm going to be a pro with a mac by the time i am done creating this website. Now i just have to think about what i want my website to be about?!??!?

Barbie APP

There really is an app for everything! We got to make our own iphone apps! we were told to pick any two images from google. I of course picked barbie. We made i tiny icon and a background with our two images we picked. Our apps dont do anything but it was still fun to make them.

Popcorn Podcast

Podcasts are super easy to make! i can see myself making those again! i made my pod cast on how to pop popcorn. There are more steps to popping popcorn than you think!

I think using clickers in class to answer questions is really handy for checking immediate understanding and getting feedback. I'd like to use clickers in my future classroom. It was fun checking out fake websites. Sometimes we put way too much trust on the internet. Not everything out on the internet is legit and we should be careful with what we believe. I also learned today that when i type in LADY GAGA into Altavista (search engine) and GAGA LADY i get different results! Either way GAGA RULES!

Top 5 Shopping in Oregon

Google Earth pretty much blows my mind. I was able to look up my Monmouth home, my Portland home, and where i lived last summer in Argentina. Today in class we got to make our own google earth movie. I made mine on the top five shopping locations in Oregon. I made the list on my own from places i have been to. Adding pictures and links was hard because if you just miss one " or  > the whole thing gets ruined. Oregon really does have amazing shopping. Makes me wanna go spend moneyyyy! Clackamas, Lloyd Center, Washington Square, Tanger and Woodburn Outlets.....LET the shopping BEGIN!

I love RECYCLING!

Today we were given a camera and told to make a video! So my group and I decided to make it about recycling. We just went with it and didn't even draw up a story board. The shots we got were better than anything we probably would have come up with if we would have waited. We had so much fun shooting and people from around campus were super nice about being in our video. Apparently out of the like 5 groups in our class 3 are doing a video on recycling....what can i say.....WOU loves recycling YAY!

Real or Fake

Last class we were shown a bunch a pictures and we had to decide whether it was photoshopped or not! I was probably right 2 out of like the 20 pictures. People are really good at editing pictures and making them look real. I love celebrity gossip and now I am questioning all the magazines I have ever read! Ok so not that dramatic....but a fake picture could really hurt someones reputation.
